I. Basic Reception Information
- Duration: 5 days and 4 nights, combining Zhuhai’s city sights with an overnight escape to Dong’ao Island.
- Arrival and departure: Private pick-up and drop-off at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.
- Group and vehicle: Planned for 4 travelers with a private 7-seat mainland vehicle. On Days 3 and 4, the vehicle provides mainland transfers only and does not travel to the island.
- Guiding: English-speaking guide, including accompaniment to Dong’ao Island. Scheduled sightseeing services are planned around 9-hour days.
- Accommodation: Nights 1, 2 and 4 in Zhuhai city; Night 3 on Dong’ao Island. Suggested rooms include breakfast for two guests per room.
- Dining: Your guide recommends local restaurants. Other meals and drinks are not included.

Day 1 · Welcome to the Zhuhai Waterfront
Route: Guangzhou Baiyun Airport → Zhuhai → Lovers Road & Fisher Girl statue → Xianglu Bay Beach.
Begin with sea air, a coastal walk and time to settle into the slower rhythm of Zhuhai.
Arrival: Meet your driver at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and transfer to Zhuhai. Allow approximately 2.5 hours for the drive, with actual travel time depending on traffic and your arrival arrangements.
First Impressions by the Sea
Later: Explore Lovers Road and visit the Fisher Girl statue, one of Zhuhai’s best-known waterfront landmarks. The open promenade makes a welcoming introduction to the city, with sea views and places to pause for photographs.
Continue to Xianglu Bay Beach. Enjoy a relaxed walk beside the water and watch the light change across the shoreline. The day’s sightseeing will be coordinated with your flight arrival, leaving time to check in and rest.

Overnight: Zhuhai city.
Day 2 · Zhuhai’s Landmarks & Evening Skyline
Route: Zhuhai Opera House → New Yuanming Palace → Jingshan Park → Hengqin Financial Island night views.
Discover a city of contrasts: contemporary waterfront architecture, palace-style gardens, green hills and a skyline that comes alive after dark.
Morning: Visit the exterior of Zhuhai Opera House, known as the Day and Night Shells. Walk around the waterfront setting and explore different angles on its paired shell-shaped forms.
The Day & Night Shells
The opera house’s white surfaces change with the light, from cool morning tones to a warmer glow later in the day. Take time to appreciate the building as part of the surrounding coastal landscape. This sightseeing stop does not include a performance unless separately arranged.
Later: Continue to New Yuanming Palace. Explore its traditional palace-style architecture and landscaped setting, with your guide introducing the features along the walking route.
A Greener View of the City
Afternoon: Visit Jingshan Park for a change of pace among its greenery and hillside scenery. Your guide will choose a walking route suited to the weather and your group’s comfort.
Evening: Continue to Hengqin Financial Island for night views of its modern buildings and waterfront. Enjoy the contrast between the day’s gardens and the contemporary city before returning to your hotel.
Trip highlights: The Day and Night Shells, New Yuanming Palace, Jingshan Park and Hengqin after dark.
Overnight: Zhuhai city.
Day 3 · Escape to Dong’ao Island
Route: Zhuhai hotel → departure pier → boat to Dong’ao Island → island exploration & overnight stay.
Leave the city behind for green hills, sheltered bays and a night close to the sea. Today begins the island part of your journey.
Morning: Transfer from your Zhuhai hotel to the confirmed departure pier and travel by boat to Dong’ao Island with your guide. Sailing times, tickets and the island arrival arrangements will be confirmed for your dates.
An Island at a Gentler Pace
Once on the island, enjoy time to explore its coastal setting. Follow the locally arranged walking route, pause beside the water and take in the contrast between the wooded slopes and open sea. The day’s pace will reflect the sailing schedule, weather and your interests.
Afternoon and evening: Check into your island accommodation and enjoy the remainder of the day at a relaxed pace. Your guide can recommend a place to eat and help coordinate your island plans. Meals beyond the specified breakfast are paid separately.
A Night with a Sea View
The suggested stay is Zhuhai Dong’ao Island Marriott Resort and Spa, in a Deluxe Sea View Twin Room with breakfast for two guests per room, subject to confirmation. Staying overnight gives you time to enjoy the island beyond the day-trip rhythm.

Overnight: Dong’ao Island.
Day 4 · Island Morning & Fuhuali After Dark
Route: Dong’ao Island → return boat to Zhuhai → city hotel → Fuhuali evening outing.
Enjoy a final morning on the island, then return to the city for an evening of dining, browsing and illuminated streets.
Morning: Enjoy breakfast and continue exploring Dong’ao Island before your confirmed departure. There is time for another look at the coast or a relaxed start near your hotel, depending on the boat schedule.
Return: Travel back to Zhuhai with your guide and meet your mainland transfer. Check into your city accommodation and take time to settle in.
An Evening in Fuhuali
Evening: Explore Fuhuali’s open-air shopping and dining streets. Enjoy its after-dark atmosphere, browse the storefronts and ask your guide for a restaurant recommendation suited to your tastes. Browse at your own pace and enjoy the area’s evening atmosphere. Individual venues and market stalls may vary.
The mainland vehicle provides a transfer only today. The final itinerary will coordinate the return from the pier and your evening movements.
Make Time for Cantonese Flavors
Small dishes shared around a table are a relaxed way to end the day. The gallery offers Cantonese dining inspiration, from delicate dumplings to a selection of steamed favorites. Restaurants and dishes will be chosen locally; meal costs are not included.
Trip highlights: More time on Dong’ao Island, the return sea crossing and Fuhuali’s evening atmosphere.
Overnight: Zhuhai city.
Day 5 · Qi’ao Island & Your Journey Home
Route: Zhuhai hotel → Qi’ao Island → Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport.
Finish with another side of Zhuhai, taking time for Qi’ao Island before the road journey back to the airport.
Morning: Check out of your hotel and travel to Qi’ao Island. Explore the locally arranged route with your guide, enjoying the island’s village character and quieter surroundings.
Notice the Smaller Details
After the city landmarks and island panoramas, a final walk offers time to notice the small scenes around you: foliage, birds by the water and the changing textures of a coastal landscape. These photographs capture some of Zhuhai’s natural details.
Departure: Transfer to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at the confirmed time. We will coordinate your Qi’ao visit with the road journey, check-in requirements and flight schedule before finalizing the day.
Overnight: No additional overnight stay. Your five-day, four-night journey ends with the airport transfer.
III. Travel Notes
- Share your flight details before booking so the arrival sightseeing and final airport transfer can be planned realistically.
- Boat operation and sailing times depend on weather and local arrangements. Your final itinerary will confirm the Dong’ao crossings, tickets and island transfers.
- Pack a convenient overnight bag for Dong’ao Island. Confirm any luggage-storage arrangement before leaving the mainland hotel.
- Days 3 and 4 include mainland vehicle transfers only. The driver and vehicle stay in Zhuhai, while your English-speaking guide accompanies you to the island.
- Scheduled vehicle and guide services follow the confirmed daily plan, normally within nine hours on sightseeing days. Extended services require a separate arrangement.
- Wear comfortable shoes for parks, village streets and coastal paths. Tell us about mobility needs and dietary requirements in advance.
- Route artwork is illustrative, including the island and room scenes. Real photographs show the stated Zhuhai locations or regional dining inspiration; they do not guarantee a particular season, room view or menu.

Private Transportation
The mainland plan uses a seven-seat vehicle for four travelers, including Guangzhou Baiyun Airport pick-up and drop-off. Days 1, 2 and 5 follow the scheduled city sightseeing and transfer arrangements. Days 3 and 4 provide the mainland pier transfers only; the vehicle does not go to Dong’ao Island. Sea crossings and any island transport will be specified in the confirmed itinerary.
English-Speaking Guide
Your guide accompanies the planned sightseeing and travels with you to Dong’ao Island, staying on the island for Night 3. The driver remains in Zhuhai. Daily guide service times and any extensions will be confirmed in advance.
Attractions & Tickets
Attraction and boat tickets will be set out in your final arrangements. Where the guide accompanies you inside a ticketed attraction or on a sailing, the guide’s ticket also needs to be arranged. Unlisted performances, water sports and other optional activities are separate arrangements.
Meals
The suggested hotel rooms include breakfast for two guests per room. Other meals and drinks are not included. Your guide can recommend local restaurants and help you choose dishes around your tastes and dietary needs.
